There will be NO Friday class on February 26 makeup class will be Saturday February 27 .

All skaters should be on the ice at 3:10pm

 

Saturday Class on February  27th -Time change!  All skaters should be on the ice at 2:10

 

Our end of season skating Exhibition will be Saturday evening March 12 at 7pm.

rehersals will be during class time .

SNOWPLOW SAM

The SnowPlow Sam levels 1-3 are designed to help the pre-schoolage  skater develop preliminary coordination and strength necessary to manuever on the ice. Snowplow Sam is a big fuzzt bear who loves to skate. The Snowplow sam class will allow preschool children to become comfortable on the ice

BASIC  1-8

The Basic Skills are the fundementals of  the sport. These eight levels of the program introduce the fundamental moves: forward skating, bacward skating, stops, edges, crossovers, three turnsa and mowhawks. Upon completeion of the Basic Skills 1-8 levels skaterts will have the basic knowledge of the sport enabling them to advmnace  to a more specialized area of skating such as Hockey or Freestyle.

ABOUT OUR PROGRAMS  

HOCKEY SKILLS _

The Hockey Curriculum is designed to teach the fundamentals of Hockeky skating. In four badge levels, skaters will learn how to manuever faster and be more agile on the ice. Propoer skating techniques are the primary focus of teh levels. All elements without a pick. Skaters will learn the necessary fundamentals to be successfull in game situations

ADULT CLASSES

The Adult curriculum is designed  for the beginner thru more advanced skater.It will promote physical fitness as well as improve  blance and coordination while learning proper skating technique. divided into 4 levels, adult skaters will progress at an individual rate while being cha;llenged nd motivated. this is an exciting program  for people who look to skating as an enjoyable way to a fit and healthy lifestyle.

FREESKATE _

Skaters are always excited to grduate from Basic Skills to Free Skate levels.. Each Free Skate level is divided into four sections.

  • Moves in the Field  Spins dance/footwork, Jumps.

The Free Skate levels are designed to give Skaters a strong foundation on which to build thier skills. This is the point where skaters can chose to pursue a recreational or competitive approach to the sport of Figure Skating
